The Story

Chateau Darzac?has been in the Barthe family for 220 years, and together with the land and buildings, a?deep natural passion?for wine growing has been passed from generation to generation. Claude, the father of the actual owners, is at the age of 75, still active as winemaking consultant. In 1996 his sons St?phane and Alain took over the running of the property and has been hugely successful and happy in carrying on?the family tradition.

From the?beautiful deep ruby colour?in the glass, this wine opens up to sumptuous aromas of jammy red fruit and offers a velvety palette of ripe berries, lifted by well integrated tannins.?Lively on the finish, the mouthfeel is rich and long.
