FUJI SINGLE BLENDED JAPANESE WHISKY 700ML

With the immense shortage of authentically created Japanese whisky in recent years, Fuji Single Blended Japanese Whisky is set to be the most significant Japanese whisky moment in years and it came directly to our Members first.

Distilled, matured and bottled all on Fuji Gotemba Distillery’s site at the foothills of their namesake landmark, this meticulously crafted whisky has vivid notes of fresh peach, white table grapes, and an elegant and silky supernova of wildflower honey to finish.

The mastermind behind this beauty is Master Blender Jota Tanaka. With an excess of 35 years of experience in the drinks industry, Jota San has taken out the title of Master Blender of the Year in 2017 at the Icons of Whisky awards and more recently had one of his creations named the World’s Best Whisky in 2020. If those accolades weren’t impressive enough, he’s also an inductee to Kentucky’s Order of Writ and the prestigious Whisky Hall of Fame.

This elegant and vivid whisky showcases Fuji Gotemba Distillery’s meticulous spirit production in a marriage of casks up to 16 years of age. As Jota San ruminates, “Delicate, but with lots of layers of flavours. All in harmony.”

Natural in colour, presented at 43% ABV, and with a portion double distilled in traditional pot stills, Fuji whisky only rarely ever leaves Japan officially and launched in Australia exclusively with the Club in April 2023.
