An unmistakable, yet gentle Islay-smokiness. As if stepping into an old sea-side warehouse breathing in the low hanging whisky mist with its mature oaky scents and gentle peat smoke. A complex fusion of sweet malt and mellow oak maturity dancing across the tongue while mingling with peppery smokiness. The peppery smoke begins very subtly only to gain in force, roll across the tongue and grab a powerful foothold before gently drifting in the background.
